Veteran actor Hema Malini will visit Norway for the first time next month, and that too as the guest of honour at the Bollywood Festival. She will also perform with her daughters Esha and Ahana at a concert in Oslo, to mark the festival’s tenth anniversary. The festival will take place from September 7 to 14 at at Lorenskog-Hus cinema near Oslo. Hema’s Sholay will be one of the movies screened, along with Satyajit Ray’s movies as this year’s theme is the 100 years of Indian cinema. Manisha Koirala and Ratan Jain are also expected to attend.

In the past nine years, several prominent Bollywood celebrities have been honoured guests at the Bollywood Festival in Norway. These include Anil Kapoor, Amisha Patel, Vidya Balan, Arshad Warsi, Manoj Bajpayee, Prem Chopra, Neha Dhupia, Padmani Kolhapure, Sharman Joshi, Sonakshi Sinha and Salman Khan.
