Kriti Sanon is set to romance Naga Chaitanya in her second Tollywood flick
Kriti Sanon’s Tollywood connections go way back compared to her B-town connections as the pretty babe made her first on screen appearance in Telugu and starred opposite Mahesh Babu. The latest we hear that Heropanti fame Kriti Sanon, who made her acting debut with Telugu film 1: Nenokkadine, has signed a new yet-untitled film in the language opposite Akkineni Naga Chaitanya.
“Kriti was signed long back for the project. The regular shooting of the film has already started and Kriti is expected to join the sets from the second week of June,” a source from the film’s unit, told IANS.
Sudheer Varma of Swamy Ra Ra fame is directing the film. Naga Chaitanya with the success of Manam and Ye Maaya Cheasve has established himself as romantic hero. The fans are in for a treat to watch the duo in action together. Speculations are that the film would be a romantic comedy.
Meanwhile, it is being rumoured that Kriti has also been signed on for Allu Arjun’s next film with director Trivikram. Looks like Kriti is trying to juggle both Bollywood and Tollywood films. Her Telugu fans would love it if the pretty actor continues to do Tollywood films even after the diva becomes a sensation in Hindi cinema.
