How will Karan Johar style Shahrukh Khan for Chennai Express?

The Baadshah’s stylist of ten years – KJo – is busy readying the superstar’s wardrobe. But what will he do this time around? We find out

It all started with Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge when a nervous and fidgety Karan Johar was given the responsibility of dressing up Shahrukh Khan. “I thought if I designed Shahrukh’s outfits in DDLJ well, I would become his personal designer. It was my dream to become his designer,” KJo had said in an interview. While KJo didn’t really take up designing clothes as his full time profession, he continued designing SRK’s clothes for all his movies. Wallah, dosti ho toh aisi ho, right?

B-town is abuzz with news about the Shahrukh-Deepika Padukone starrer Chennai Express and their look in the film. A li’l birdie revealed, “Shahrukh’s look in the film will be very ritzy,” So SRK’s look will include loads of jackets, albeit not the formal kinds. Ah! Remember Shahrukh’s rugged look with leathered jackets in Josh? But guess this time it will be more chic and uber cool. Right, KJo?

Now if King Khan is getting casual and stylish, any clue what leggy lass Deepika will don? Trendy, matching shrugs, perhaps?
