For the first time two-film old Kalki Koechlin had to dance, that too with the best dancer in the industry – Hrithik Roshan

In a recent interview to a daily, Kalki Koechlin revealed that she had fun while shooting with the biggies – Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Katrina Kaif and Abhay Deol – for Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Kalki forayed into films with an unusual and small budget film like Dev D, so Zoya’s film was a different world for her. While shooting in Spain, the cast would finish work and hit the city streets for grub, making it a memorable experience for the young actress. However it was not always fun for Kalki. One of the days the Dev D actress was not in great spirits. Reason: she had to match steps with the best dancer in the industry. For the first time she was doing a conventional song-dance sequence. The new bride recalls, “I had a tough time matching steps with Hrithik for a retro song. Everyone laughed at Abhay and me when we were dancing, though Abhay is a better dancer than me.” Isn’t it one of the prime reasons Abhay stayed away from regular Bollywood films? Anyway, now that Kalki and he have taken the first step, will we see them in more and more masala entertainers? Let’s wait and watch!
