Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif to go Bang Bang in Kashmir!

The Bachna Ae Haseeno director’s next is titled Bang Bang (not what you think, you dirty minds!) and he plans to kick off with a month-long shooting schedule in Kashmir

Ever since Siddharth Anand announced his desi adaptation of the Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz starrer Knight and Day starring the Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara hit jodi of Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif, the project is garnering good buzz and making all the right noises. Bang Bang… Why not?

It’s learnt that the super excited filmmaker was thinking for an apt name for his film, considering he had to match up to an attractive title like Knight and Day. And after several brainstorming sessions with his team, he settled for Bang Bang (sounds like Bappi Lahiri‘s new disco discovery, no?). The romcom will go on floors on the Valentine week in February next year, as the actors and crew will leave for the first schedule in Kashmir.

“Last month, Siddharth went to the valley with his crew for the recce where he decided to shoot the majority of the film. They finalised all the locations where Hrithik and Katrina will shoot,” a source close to the filmmaker said. For the trivia hungry, Knight and Day is a spy on-the-run thriller with full-on action. And if our loyal buddy is to be believed, Anand has roped in popular Hollywood stunt coordinator, Conrad Palmisano to choreograph the stunts for Hrithik and Katrina. Incidentally, Conrad had also directed the action sequences for Ek Tha Tiger and is currently working on Yash Raj Films’ Dhoom:3.

From what we see, Siddharth is leaving no stone unturned to see that his film creates the right bang at the box office. We wish him all the good luck!
