Indian Grand Prix 2012: Ajay Devgn & Sonakshi Sinha to sing National Anthem

The Son of Sardaar actors will flag off the Formula One Indian Grand Prix on October 28

Actors Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha, who will be seen together for the first time in Diwali release Son of Sardaar, will sing Jana Gana Mana – the Indian National Anthem – at the Formula One Indian Grand Prix 2012’s inauguration on Sunday, October 28, 2012. The event is being held for the second time in the country at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

Devgn, who has been busy with the post production of Son of Sardaar – a film directed by Ashwani Dhir – feels the F1 race will be a good break for him. He said, “It feels great to be a part of this sport, as it is the perfect combination of entertainment, action and excitement. And I am surely going to enjoy the experience. I wish luck to all the racers.”

His co-star Sonakshi was also excited about the race. She said, “Girls love fast cars and I just cannot wait for the race. F1 is a boys sport but I am going to prove that girls can enjoy it as well. This is my first time at a F1 race and I am going to make sure the experience is Son of Sardaar size!”

Son of Sardaar releases on November 13 along with Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif’s film Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
