The Bol Bachchan actor was injured on the sets of Happy New Year but continued to respect his professional commitments and also resumed shooting today

Abhishek Bachchan seems to be a true professional. Our khabroos informed us that he hurt his right wrist while shooting for Farah Khan’s upcoming Happy New Year but he didn’t stop the respecting his commitments. Abhishek continued to shoot for his portion of the film and did not say a word about the pain in his wrist. After attending to a couple of other commitments, the Dhoom:3 actor resumed for the shoot. “He does not want his injury to delay filming. The team will ensure precautions are taken and the injury doesn’t aggravate,” added a source talking to a leading daily.

If we recall Shahrukh Khan was also injured in January on the sets the same film. The team was shooting at a five star hotel in Mumbai when a door fell on him. SRK too was not willing to take an off from the shooting and had returned back to the sets right after getting out of hospital. Abhishek also kept his other commitments of attending day 2 of FICCI Frames in Mumbai, and right after left for London School of Economics, where he was invited as a keynote speaker at the University’s Economic Forum for India 2014 conference. At both these events Junior Bachchan was seen sporting a splint. Talking to a leading daily a source informed, “The doctors suggested that he wear a wrist splint till he recovers.”

Now that is what we call as a thorough professional who would not step back from his given commitment. Hai na peeps?
