Not in real life, but she is in Yash Chopra’s last film, Jab Tak Hai Jaan
Though Yash Chopra has made films of different genres, there has been a unique way that he portrays his leading ladies on celluloid. They are always gorgeous and B-town babes know that it is a huge privilege to have the legendary filmmaker call the shots. Anushka Sharma is one lucky babe who got to be a part of Yashji’s last film. It seems that Chopra Sr has pushed himself with Jab Tak Hai Jaan. That was obvious from Anushka’s description of her role.
In a recent interview the bubbly babe said, “The anti-Yash Chopra heroine is a bit cynical about love; she is very practical. She probably has a job and wouldn’t stop her life because she has found love – someone who is ambitious and a little too practical.” When she was quizzed if she was like that in real life as well, she said, “In the film, yes.”
