The actress is choosing her films, production houses and costars with extreme care. She doesn’t want to make any wrong decisions!

Anushka Sharma has already admitted that she can “beat the shit out of contemporaries” on Karan’s TV show. Yet it’s strange that the charming actress is not willing to experiment with her films, the way her colleagues Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif do. Here’s why we think so: Her official three-film contract with Yash Raj Films got over with Band Baaja Baraat, but the actress is not willing to let go of her association with the production house just yet. Why should she? After all, it gave her three successes in a row! The thing is, Anushka wants to play it safe now and consolidate her position in the industry. We hear that she rejected a couple of good offers from other directors to do YRF’s Ladies vs Ricky Bahl instead. Now she has signed Yash Raj’s next, where she’ll share screen space with SRK again and Katrina Kaif for the first time. In a way she’s trying to emulate her idol Kajol, who was known to reject plum offers to stay with YRF and Dharma projects. And more so because her decision to do Ladies vs Ricky Bahl didn’t come only out of her loyalty to YRF, but also from her best friends’— director Maneesh Sharma and Ranveer Singh – attachment to the project. She is confident that Maneesh will do justice to her role and that her hit-and-hot jodi with Ranveer will work to her advantage. And where her film opposite SRK is concerned, who wants to let go of an opportunity to work with SRK! Her only movie out of the Yash Raj camp, Patiala House proved to be a disaster and she is no mood to take any more chances at this point. With this decision, Anushka has definitely consolidated her position at YRF, if not in Bollywood!
