Any Bollywood actor would envy the guy who has been paired with supermodel Candice Boucher, in his very first film, but there is more to it than just the arm candy
Though Arya Babbar made his Bollywood debut in 2002 as a lead actor in Ab Ke Baras, which tanked at the BO, he has been content doing roles which are far away from the lead roles which he might like. Despite his filmi lineage and the fact that he is a decent actor (we heard so from those in the theatre circuit) he has been playing side characters for a very long time, which mostly go unnoticed. Arya will be seen again in one such role in Sachiin Joshi’s debut film Aazaan. The promotion of the film is on full swing and Babbar Jr is enjoying the limelight. Each time he is asked about his experience of working with the debut actor Sachiin, Arya starts by saying, “Joshi isn’t making a film debut just because he has all the money in the world, he is passionate about films and he has prepared for this film by working out for two years.” You read it right, the scion of the Joshi Empire prepared for his role by working out for two years! Now that is some way to prepare for a film debut. We totally understand Arya’s angst and his sarcasm and hope that he gets his due sooner than later.
