Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has not finalised the lead female actor for his next project, Kick, starring Salman Khan. Deepika Padukone is trying hard to work with the actor who is ruling the box office right now

Deepika Padukone has an enviable portfolio. The 27-year-old actor made her Bollywood debut right alongside Shahrukh Khan in Farah Khan’s 2008 film Om Shanti Om. Dippy then went on to work with almost all the A-listers of B-town, including Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor. But the leggy lass has not yet done a film with the Baadshah of the box-office, Salman Khan. So when she heard that producer Sajid Nadiadwala was looking for a heroine for his film Kick, starring Salman Khan, Dippy did not shy away from showing her keen interest to play the part.

A little birdie told us that Nadiadwala was considering Sonakshi Sinha or Angela Johnson for the film, but now he’s likely to zero in on his female lead star only after he meets Deepika. After all, DP is the toast of B-town these days. Her last film Cocktail has given Dips unbelievable popularity and she was also seen in Nadiadwala’s successful Housefull. She is hot property now, with Kochadaiyan with Rajinikanth, Chennai Express with Shahrukh Khan and Yeh Jawaani Yeh Diwani with Ranbir in her filmi bag. Sonakshi, on the other hand, did not get positive reviews for her last outing in Joker.

Now life is gonna get a lot more fun, what with a tough competition being fought out between Deepika and Sona. And the former, it seems, is all set to play her cards right to romance our fave bhai on the silver screen!
