Is Imran Khan Bollywood’s answer to Indiana Jones?

Going by the latest goss, we certainly think so! The actor has been roped in by the Bhaag Milkha Bhaag director for an adventure thriller

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is in no mood to take a break from work. That’s the reason why the maverick director has taken up two more big-scale projects after the Farhan Akhtar starrer Bhaag Milkha Bhaag that released last month. Besides launching Anil Kapoor’s son Harshvardhan Kapoor in Mirza Sahiba, the BMB director is teaming up with Imran Khan for an adventure thriller film which we hear is on the lines of popular Hollywood movie series Indiana Jones. Yes, the magnum opus is said to be centered on the discovery of lost city of Dwarka, believed to be lord Krishna’s kingdom.

The movie which is set to release in 2014 is still in the initial stages. Talking about the film, a source said, “The film, a first-of-its-kind in India, is being thoroughly researched. It will be one of the big-budget projects of 2014.”

While we loved the rip-roaring adventure in the Hollywood classic Indiana Jones, we are curious to see what Mr Mehra has to offer in his desi version!
