Debutante director Mukul Misra’s Siddhartha would have a special surprise for all of Bhatt fans
Mahesh Bhatt has always remained behind the camera camera. He has been directing, scriptwriting, producing and so on. But now it seems he is all set to face the camera.
A little birdie informs us that Mukul Misra’s directorial debut, Siddhartha, would have Mahesh Bhatt playing an important role. The ace director-producer would now be able to quench his thirst for acting. If we remember he is not the only one to make this transition. We have seen directors like Tigmanshu Dhulia, Farhan Akhtar and Karan Johar take the leap.
Our khabru also informs us that the film would be a story of a man’s search for truth after his life is shattered by betrayals. The title role would be portrayed by Shivam Bhagrav and Bhatt is said to play the role of a bald Buddhist monk who helps Shivam’s character on his journey. The film produced by Prabhat Pandey would also have Shazahn Padmasee play Shivam’s love interest.
Considering that it would be a ten day shoot in Manali, this seems more like an extended cameo. But we would have to wait and watch as to what Siddhartha has to offer all Mahesh Bhatt fans. Hai na peeps?
