Is Priyanka Chopra’s role in Barfi! inspired from Shahrukh Khan’s in My Name Is Khan?

Some time ago Piggy Chops imitated SRK’s role as an Asperger’s patient during the Filmfare awards, managing it to perfection. And now she reveals how it all contributed to making her a perfect Jhilmil

Nowadays it’s becoming increasingly difficult to talk about Priyanka Chopra and not mention her ‘good friend’ Shahrukh Khan. So when we were all going gaga over the autistic Jhilmil, a role played by Piggy Chops in the recently released Barfi!, SRK again found his way into the hot goss.

How? Hear this – apparently, PeeCee credits the success of her role to the now-absent-friend-from-her-life Shahrukh. Why? “thank u @iamsrk for lending me all ur my name is Khan research, u gave me perspective on Jhilmil..owe u another always,” Priyanka tweeted. Cho chweet!

So it was actually Shahrukh’s mehnat and thorough research that helped Priyanka get the pulse of Jhilmil perfectly. Now after knowing about SRK’s contribution to making PC’s role so superb, wethinks he does deserve a part of the credit. Right, peeps?

One thought though – if SRK’s research on autism was that helpful, we can’t help but wonder where the Baadshah himself went wrong. ‘Coz he wasn’t this good in My Name Is Khan…was he?
