Is Salman Khan taking the ‘Tiger’ tag too seriously?

The Ek Tha Tiger actor will soon be adopting some big cats, we hear…or will he?

Director Kabir Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger is one of the few Salman Khan films that not only did roaring business at the box office, but impressed the critics. It is also Salman’s highest grosser till date and is very special for his fans since his lady love in the film was the gorgeous Katrina Kaif. It has been a while since the film released but the ‘Tiger’ tag seems to have stuck to the Dabangg dude. One of his forthcoming films is named Sher Khan, which is the name of the enormous feline from The Jungle Book.

News now is that Sallu bhai has been approached by the authorities of the Lucknow zoo to adopt its tigers. Thanks to the smash hit that ETT was, the zoo authorities also want Salman to lend his name to a campaign creating awareness about the dwindling population of tigers in the country. Bollywood’s Tiger is yet to give his consent to this idea, but knowing his love for animals and his charitable streak, this seems to be something he could agree to. It might also be a good way of promoting Sher Khan.
