Is Sanjay Dutt Bollywood’s last action hero?
Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma who has cast Sanjay Dutt in his next film inspired by Munich, wants us to believe so
Sanjay Dutt can be easily called Bollywood’s meanest bad man after successfully portraying Kancha in the Agneepath remake. But calling him the last action hero is stretching things too far. If Ram Gopal Varma is to be believed, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar don’t even exist! We heard RGV say, “Yes, Sanjay Dutt and I are doing another film right after Department. I truly believe he is our last action hero. So I am going to cast him as a one-man army on a global mission. Munich is the film I’ve in mind.”
Buzz is that an inspired Ramu is headed towards making his most ambitious film yet. The original film Munich, directed by Steven Spielberg, shows how a squad of assassins led by former Mossad agent Avner (Eric Bana) tracks down and kills a list of Black September members. In RGV’s version, Sanju Baba would be reprising Bana. News is that he will train hard to look convincing as a one-man-army and is very upbeat about it. While we are happy about this latest development, we just hope Bodyguard Khan and Khiladi Kumar don’t get offended by Ramu’s callous statement.

salman khan has become action hero in late 40s, so he can’t be in the same bracket as sanjay or akshay kumar who were out an out action hero in the beginning.
