The Border actor stands by his daughter’s decision of working with Suraj and feels that no one should be convicted falsely in any legal battle
Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty is going to make her debut opposite Aditya Pancholi’s son, Suraj Pancholi in the remake of the 1983 film, Hero. However, way before the shooting even started, Pancholi junior got entangled in the Jiah Khan suicide case. He was charged with abetting the suicide and was in custody for some time. The good part is that apparently, Shetty senior is not worried about his daughter making a debut opposite someone who has legal troubles.
Talking to a leading daily he says, “I’ve no apprehensions about Athiya debuting opposite Suraj. I believe that till the time Suraj is proved guilty, he is innocent and we all should not jump the gun. No one has the right to point a finger at him until the final judgment is made. And if he was proven guilty, he would have been punished by now. If that was the case the film not have been made, and the producers would not be investing their money.” Now that throws all the apprehensions out of the window. Hai na?
Wethinks it is great that he has so much confidence in Suraj and his daughter Athiya. His confidence makes us also believe that the movie would prove to be a blockbuster for the two star kids. What do you think peeps?
