Apparently, B-town’s elite production house has laid down a condition to all single screen theatre owners that if they want to buy Himmatwala, they will have to dedicate all the four shows in a day to Chennai Express as well. Oh no… not again!

It seems Akshay Kumar and the makers of Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again – producer Ekta Kapoor and director Milan Luthria are gonna have sleepless nights. As if the pressure of Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express releasing on the same day as Once Upon A Time… wasn’t enough, latest reports suggest that the production house, UTV Motion Pictures’ new game plan might spell doom for the Akshay Kumar-Imran Khan-Sonakshi Sinha starrer.

Remember last year, we witnessed the famous Shahrukh Khan-Ajay Devgn war over the clash of their Diwali releases – Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son Of Sardaar schemed by Yash Raj Films. That it was done in order to cash in on the festive season and the long weekend. And for this Eid, UTV is planning a similar strategy to outdo Milan Luthria’s sequel.

According to the latest trade buzz, UTV is going the Yash Raj way by demanding that all single screen theatre owners who buy Himmatwala will have to screen four shows of Chennai Express as well. And seems like several theatre owners are thinking of adhering to UTV’s condition. After all, they can’t afford to lose out on big money that can potentially be earned from the biggies – Himmatwala and Chennai Express.

Although UTV has denied resorting to any such tactic, we wonder what the truth is, and more importantly whose brainchild is it – Shahrukh Khan considering he isn’t the best of friends with Akshay Kumar? Watch this space for more updates!

Himmatwala will not become a hit as it looks dated. And the less said about SR paiKhan’s latest the better! He seems to be going down hill with each movie. You paiKhan eating pinkChaddis at this tabloid should know that Akshy Kumar’s movie is also a biggie and the most awaited by his fans! You must be blind to not see that Akki has given 5 biggies in a row including Special 26 !

    Dirty games!
I was sure that the clash on Diwali was pre-planned. That it was all just a conspiracy of Shah and Ajay.
    That’s an obvious proof.
