Jab Tak Hai Jaan premiere: A grand occasion!

The first show of the late Yash Chopra’s last film will take place in a lavish theatre created by Yash Raj Films only for the occasion

Yash Chopra was a person who liked to live life king size. So it’s only apt that the premiere of his last film, starring Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, be held in a similar manner. And so, on November 12 almost everybody who is anybody in all of Bollywood will be invited to the premiere of Jab Tak Hai Jaan in a specially built theatre that will occupy a whole floor at Yash Raj Studios.

The decision to do this was made by the family – including sons Aditya Chopra and Uday Chopra and wife Pamela Chopra. Also, the current preview theatre at Yash Raj Films can only accommodate 100 people; and since Yash Chopra’s chautha was held at the studio, a temporary theatre will be erected that will accommodate three times the capacity of the current one.

The premiere is touted to be a memorable event since 12 leading heroines from Yash Chopra’s previous films will be coming together to catch the master craftsman’s final act. Mr Chopra Sr will be pleased, wherever he is now, wethinks!
