We had told you that King Khan met King Uncle on the sets of Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express at Mehboob Studio and some hush-hush discussion happened. And now we know the result of that discussion!

During the shoot of Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express starring Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone at Mehboob studios apna Jaggu dada had landed at the studio. The two discussed something and we were kept away from their fiercely guarded discussion. But now we hear that Jackie Shroff has been signed for Farah Khan’s SRK-Deepika Padukone starrer Happy New Year.

SRK and Jackie worked together for the first time in Rakesh Roshan’s King Uncle almost two decades ago, later the two were also seen in Subhash Ghai’s Trimurti, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Devdas.

When we asked Jackie whether his meeting with SRK had anything to do with Farah Khan’s Happy New Year, he didn’t disagree, but gave us some exclusive information. “Yes, Farah has spoken to me about some film. Farah ko kaun na bolega, bhidu? I’m also looking forward to it because it will give me an opportunity to work with Shahrukh, whom I’ve always considered to be my younger brother. We bond very well. “said Jackie.

Now with Deepika Padukone has been zeroed in on as SRK’s heroine, we are glad to know that even our bindaas bhidu Jaggu dada is also on board!Subscribe to me on YouTube
