The F.A.L.T.U. actor is touched by his director’s faith in him and is super confident about his next project
It’s not everyone who is honest about being part of a flop film. So it’s refreshing when Jackky Bhagnani talks about Kal Kissne Dekha even while his second film F.A.L.T.U. is drawing in the audiences, which is not exactly the time you would want to remind people of your dud debut! “Yes, Kal Kissne Dekha didn’t exactly do well,” he admits. “But everyone liked my work in it. I have got really good feedback. Even with F.A.L.T.U., those who have watched it have got back with very positive comments.” Hmmm, seems like you are learning the tricks of the trade early on, Jackky! So what about your next film? Will it be another two years (KKD released in 2009) before we see you again on the big screen? “I have signed Remo’s (D’Souza) next film,” he says. What if it doesn’t do well? “It will do very well. He is a brilliant director. He has faith in me,” pat comes the reply. Ah, there’s the honesty again. Hold on to it, Jackky. You will catch more flies… oops… fans with it.
