The Jumping Jack of Bollywood turns 72 today
Born on January 7, 1942, Jeetendra Kapoor commonly known as the Jumping Jack of Bollywood turns a year older today. Jeetendra is a successful actor and producer. Jeetendra will be conferred with the India’s highest award in cinema – Dadasaheb Phalke Award given annually by the Government.
Ekta Kapoor’s daddy dearest has delivered hits for three decades. He began his career with Navrang in 1959 where he was cast as Sandhya’s double. He was paired opposite Sridevi, Jaya Prada, Hema Malini, Neetu Singh amongst others. Jeetendra’s popular films include Sanjog, Aulad, Majaal, Justice Chaudhry, Mawaali, Himmatwala, Jaani Dushman, Tohfa, Parichay, Kinara and Khushboo among others.
