With Manish Paul replacing Drashti Dhami, the boring season of Jhalak seems to have come back to life. Read on to know more…

Today’s episode witnessed stars Armaan Jain and Deeksha Seth performing on the hit number Khalifa from their upcoming movie Lekar Hum Deewana Dil.  Here is a sneak peek of all that happened…

The good

 Manish Paul

Former host of Jhalak Drashti Dhami certainly made many headlines when she announced her exit from the show without stating any reason. Manish Paul who was seen hosting Jhalak last season alongside Kapil Sharma, has now replaced the Madhubala fame and was seen being his usual goofy self, which thankfully made today’s episode much more entertaining when compared to the previous ones.

Ashish Sharma and Shampa’s vampire act

The duo’s twisted act earned them a whole lot of brownie points. The two were seen performing a contorted contemporary routine, posing as vampires while doing the same. Ashish was at his best with his perfect lines and techniques topped with Shampa’s unbeatable expressions.

 The Bad

Karan Johar’s dancing act

Although the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai director   is famous for his unique dance steps, we are nonetheless bored of the filmmaker giving us the same worn out moves every now and then. We love you Mr. Johar but we suggest you work on your next act and try and give us something different next time. Maybe Madhuri Dixit-Nene can help you do the same. What say?

 The puppet stint

With Mouni Roy and Punit Pathak  puppet act getting a thumbs up by the judges, might we add that it was rather necessary for Manish Paul and Ranvir Shorey to continue the saga with a not-so-funny stint there on. Instead of being funny, their little monologue fell flat and was a snooze fest.
