The upcoming actor’s lawyer Zamir Khan said he has not given consent for the test

Suraj Pancholi, in judicial custody in connection with the Jiah Khan suicide case, was to undergo a narcotics analysis test. The Mumbai police had sought the Andheri Magistrate Court’s permission for the same on Thursday, June 27. The Court will hear the police’s application on Monday. But according to the law, the accused has the right to refuse a narco-test.

Suraj’s lawyer Zamir Khan said to a newspaper that they would do just that. “We are not going to give our consent to it as Suraj is of tender age,” he said.

Suraj’s custody was earlier extended till June 27. The 22-year-old upcoming actor will now be in jail till July 11. Watch this space for more updates.
