John Abraham says action in Shootout At Wadala is real

The thickset dude couldn’t stop raving about the awesome action sequences in his upcoming film, but while doing so he also made sure he took a dig at some of the recent action movies of Bollywood

John Abraham, who has himself been a part of fight films like Force, was heard criticising the recent lot of action films churned out by Bollywood. Looks like the hunk doesn’t approve the over-the-top moves, in which all you have to do is hang from the harness and perform stunts that make you look like the ultimate dude. The actor has started to love anything that has a taste of reality. So while he thinks that the action scenes in Race 2 were quite interesting, he isn’t very impressed with the way stunts are exaggerated in most of the films. “Today we see a lot of Kung Fu and monkey kind of action, where people fly and all,” he said in a recent interview.

The actor also said that the action in Shootout At Wadala is going to be very real. He also went on to say that after the Sunny Deol starrer Ghayal, it’s SAW that will surprise the audience with its hardcore but genuine action scenes. So obviously after hearing the stud’s statement, we aren’t expecting the heroes to monkey around in the film ‘coz even we aren’t huge fans of super dramatic fight scenes, John!
