John Abraham to clash with Aamir Khan at the box office this December!

Anees Bazmee doesn’t want his film Welcome Back to release alongside P.K. but the clash it seems is unavoidable. Why? Read on to know…

Anees Bazmee’s directorial venture Welcome Back starring John Abraham and Anil Kapoor in the lead will hit the theaters this year on December 19. The same day Rajkumar Hirani’s much-awaited film P.K. starring Aamir Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput is also releasing. While Bazmee wants to avoid the box office competition, Feroz Nadiadwala who is producing the film isn’t too keen on changing the release date of Welcome Back. While talking to a leading daily, the Welcome director said, “I feel that two big movies should not clash (at the box office). It’s not good for both the films’ business. But I am only directing my film. So if my producer (Feroz) wants to release it on a certain date, it’s his prerogative. And if he wants to release it on the scheduled date, the film will be ready by then.”

Not too long ago, Anees had said in an interview, “Feroz wants us to stick to our December 19 release date. But I see no point in a box-office tussle. I am going to convince him to opt for another release window.” Guess the talented director didn’t succeed in his mission, hai na?
