KAHAANI trailer: Vidya Balan packs a punch

If you think you’ve seen everything Vidya Balan had to show, in her last film, The Dirty Picture, you are mistaken. Though Sujoy Ghosh’s previous film, Aladin, didn’t find many takers, it seems that this time, aided by the acting genius of Vids, he seems to be back in form. The film is about Vidya who plays a pregnant woman in search of her husband and the father of the child. And it takes her all the way to Kolkata from London. Kahaani is being hailed as Vidya’s fifth female-centric film after Parineeta, Paa, No One Killed Jessica & The Dirty Picture. Sujoy has shot the film in real locations and showcases Kolkata in all its festive glory. The festivities combined with the grim theme of the film creates a visual spectacle and if the trailer is anything to go by, Vidya is set to walk away with a lot of accolades this time around too.
