Kamal Haasan is really busy this year as he plans to give a triple treat to his fans in 2014. What are we talking about, you ask? Well, the actor has three films slated to release this year. While he is currently busy wrapping up Uttama Villain, a Tamil comedy film, we hear that he will soon start shooting for the Tamil remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Drishyam. What more, the sequel of Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam will hit the theatres soon.
Vishwaroopam 2 will release simultaneously in Hindi and Tamil. While the Tamil version if produced by V Ravichandran, the Hindi version has been produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. Kamal told a popular daily, “We had completed Vishwaroopam 2 long back except for some patch work. It’s in post-production now and should release anytime soon.”
Soon after the release of Vishwaroopam 2, Kamal Haasan will be back on the big screen with Uttama Villain, which will release in September. Haasan will start shooting for the remake of Drishyam from July 25, we hear. Directed by Jeetu Joseph, the film is expected to release by the end of this year.
