The Rascals actor is slowly getting her career back on track after a couple of duds
You have to hand it to Kangna Ranaut. The gal didn’t have a very good 2011 – Tanu Weds Manu and Double Dhamaal were hits, but she had three big flops in Game, Rascals and Miley Naa Miley Hum. Her only other release is the action film Tezz, which is more about Ajay Devgn and Anil Kapoor’s characters than hers. While that would have made it tough for any other actor to reenter the race, Kangs was not deterred. She went ahead and signed two biggies – Dedh Ishqiya and Krrish 3. If that weren’t enough, we now hear that she has agreed to be a part of another big project: Shootout At Wadala. She is doing the same role that Vidya Balan had been signed on for earlier. Vidya had later refused it as she felt it wasn’t substantial enough, but Kangs has no such qualms. It is an Ekta Kapoor and Sanjay Gupta production and Kangna is more than happy to grab it with both hands. It was Ekta who had given her Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, which is one of the biggest hits of Kangna’s career. With three potential blockbusters in her kitty, it won’t be long before Kangna’s patience pays off and she topples her rivals from the top heroines’ list.
