Kapil Sharma’s Comedy Nights with Kapil to go off air?

Buzz is that the funny man of small screen wants to concentrate only on his filmi career now

This might come as a very tragic news to the most of you as rumour has it that Kapil Sharma is planning to wrap up his popular show – Comedy Nights with Kapil, which is aired on Colors. All thanks to his Bollywood debut, Bank-Chor, which is being produced by Yash Raj Films.

Earlier there were rumours that his show will revert to its one-episode-per-week format very soon. However, now we have heard that he doesn’t want to do the show anymore. According to the grapevine, the stand-up comedian has confessed to his friends that he now wants to concentrate only on his filmi career. And this decision of his has reportedly miffed the peeps at Colors.

However our highly placed sources maintain that CNWK is not going off air. At least not as of now. “The show is not going off air. But the channel has not decided whether it will air once a week or twice yet. CNWK has huge TRPs and there is no way it will go off air, for now.” We tried contacting Kapil, but he was unavailable to comment.

We are sure this brings in some relief for all the CNWK fans. However, we can’t really predict as to what will happen in the coming days. In that case, all we can do is just wait and watch and let the drama unfold. Keep watching this space for all the updates on Comedy Nights with Kapil.
