Karan Johar who plays a villain in Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet was all chatty at his film’s wrap up party. Read further to know what else did he say
Though Anushka Sharma was missing from Bombay Velvet’s red carpert event, her co stars in the film Ranbir Kapoor and Karan Johar along with director Anurag Kashyap made sure that their film’s wrap up party was grand and exuberant. Sporting black T-shirts with a jazzy design, their release date November 28 was mentioned on these T-shirts.
Karan Johar who plays a villain in the film was at his jovial best. When asked about his experience, the Koffee with Karan host said, “It was great to work with Anurag. My major portion of the film is shot with Ranbir, so he is officially my favourite co-star from now and Anurag is my favourite director.” He further added with a grin, “Anyway I don’t have any other option as this is my first film.”
The Kal Ho Naa Ho director is very excited for his role in the film and has also been tweeting on it since long. Very recently he thanked his director Anurag for fulfilling his father’s dream on a micro blogging website. The new baddie on the block tweeted, “my father thought I should be an actor… I didnt…thank you Anurag Kashyap for fulfilling my dad’s wish…just wrapped #BombayVelvet!!!”
On being asked if Kashyap ever screamed on him while shooting the film, he replied, “No not at all, Anurag ne naa mujhe daata, na mere role kaata.”
