Karan Johar ropes in Mohit Suri to direct the Hindi remake of The Intouchables

The Murder 2 director will direct the Hindi remake of 2011 French comedy drama

Mohit Suri has been roped in to direct the Hindi remake of hit 2011 French comedy-drama The Intouchables. Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment will produce the remake.

Johar took to Twitter to announce the collaboration with Monga. “Guneet Monga (Sikhya Entertainment) and Dharma Productions will co-produce the Official remake of Intouchables… Directed by Mohit Suri…,” the Koffee with Karan host tweeted.

This is the first time that KJo will be teaming up with the Aashiqui 2 director. Suri is also making his debut in comedy after doing a series of suspense thrillers.

As of now Mohit is gearing for the release of Ek Villain that stars Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh.
