The Agneepath producer, we are told, will be soon making a film that stars his favourite Khan
Every time Karan Johar has directed a film with Shahrukh Khan as the leading man it has been a huge hit. Last time the duo came together was for My Name Is Khan and they had Kajol for company. News now is that Karan will be collaborating with Shahrukh again, but this time it is not for a full length feature film. A number of filmmakers – including Dibakar Banerjee, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar and Karan himself – are collaborating to mark the completion of a hundred years of Indian cinema.
The directors will be making short films that will be put together as one feature film called Bombay Talkies, said to be releasing around May 2013. Being genuinely passionate about cinema, this group is excited about coming together for the project. Buzz is that Imran Khan has been cast by Dibakar, while Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif will share screen space in Zoya’s film. We are as excited as you would be to find out more about this project, but for now this is what we know. Keep watching this space for more updates on Bombay Talkies.
