Guess who we ran into at the launch of Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’s first look! The bespectacled Pappu from ‘Pappu Can’t Dance’ fame! Wondering what this guy was doing at the event? Well, brace your hearts readers, EMAET is Pappu aka Shakun Batra’s debut movie as a director. So how did the transition happen, you might ask, and Shakun replies, “I never wanted to be an actor. I was an assistant director on the film (Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na) and we ran out of actors,” and hence he had to play the role of Pappu. While we loved you in that role, Shakun, we wonder, if you can work the same magic as the director of EMAET, especially when there have been rumours about the movie being similar to Ashton Kutcher’s What Happens in Vegas? Immediately Karan Johar interrupts, “There is actually not a single page of similarity between the two movies. The fact that you can be married in Vegas is really just one of the aspects not the entire film.” For Pappu’s sake, we really hope so too, KJo!
