After working as an assistant director to many renowned filmmakers of Bollywood, Karan Malhotra bagged a golden opportunity to direct his first film. He directed the powerful star cast, including the likes of Hrithik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra, for his directorial debut Agneepath in 2012. With the able backing of Dharma Productions and filmmaker Karan Johar, Malhotra delivered a box office success with the remake of the original 1990 film Agneepath. The movie became one of the biggest hits of the year.
Before his first film, Malhotra assisted on various projects, including Pukar, Lajja, Main Hoon Na and Jodhaa Akbar. Today the young and successful director celebrates his birthday. We at BollywoodLife wish him on this special day!
