Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor had already postponed their wedding plans to mid-February on learning about Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi’s health status. But on Thursday as Sr Pataudi passed away, the wedding got postponed indefinitely. A source close to the couple said that the family has decided to have no celebrations for a year at least. The marriage was apparently set to be organised at the Pataudi family palace and was meant to be a grand affair. But the untimely death of Tiger Pataudi changed things.While Sharmila Tagore, Soha and Saba were near the father’s bedside when he died, Saif was busy finishing his shooting schedules. On hearing the news of his father’s death, the actor rushed to the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and broke down. Kareena who was busy shooting for her film joined him later. Saif’s ex-wife Amrita Singh also arrived soon with his children, son Ibrahim Ali Khan and daughter Sara Ali Khan.
