Karan Johar has managed to get the ‘Sheila’ babe to do another wiggle in the Hrithik Roshan starrer, Agneepath
The Agneepath item number story has a new chapter, hopefully the final edition. For some time now we have been hearing buzz about a song that needed a sexy top heroine to do her thing for. Priyanka Chopra was the strongest contender, our birdie told us, until she cleared the rumour-filled air to explain that she has an action sequence with villain Sanjay Dutt, but will not shake a leg or anything else to music in the film. Now we hear that Katrina Kaif will take on that hippy-hippy-shake-shake role, which will be a highlight of the film. She dances not with hero Hrithik, but with ace-baddie Sanjay, aka Kancha Cheena. There is a jhamela of politics involved in this one, we are told, with Kat originally refusing because her ‘close friend’ Salman Khan had a temporary fallout with Sanju baba – you know all that, we know – but now she only has to sign on formally, though she has agreed to strut her stuff for KJo. Her song will be composed by Ajay-Atul of Singham fame. We now wonder if, like Karan insists the movie itself will be, this item number will also have a “new age twist”. Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
