The London born actor has indeed struck gold with all the big-budget film offers pouring in. Katrina Kaif is playing the lead in Kochadaiyaan opposite Rajinikanth, and now she has been approached for a role with Kamal Haasan

When Katrina Kaif entered Bollywood with a dud like Boom in 2003, she probably would not have thought that nine years down the line not only the kings of Bollywood but also south megastars will be vying for her attention. Only a few weeks back, it was announced that Katrina has finally given her nod to act in superstar Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan. And now we hear that the producer of Kamal Haasan’s next has also approached the Chikni Chameli  for a film. According to the latest buzz, Kat was offered a role by Aascar Films in their next venture.

The new film is touted to have a bigger budget than Rajinikanth’s Endhiran. Kamal Haasan will reportedly be playing the lead as well as directing the film. Producer Aascar Ravichandran and he had earlier teamed up for Dasavathaaram. But Ravichandran said that nothing has been finalised yet and negotiation is still in its initial stages. But one cannot ignore that Kat’s calendar is already full this year. So now we are eagerly waiting for the leggy lass to come out with her decision on this one.
