Katrina Kaif turns 28! Happy birthday to her!

Born on July 16, 1984, Katrina Kaif made her Bollywood debut in the 2003 film Boom starring Amitabh Bachchan, Javed Jaffery, Jackie Shroff and Madhu Sapre. Subsequently, she appeared in Sarkar and Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya. Born in Hong Kong and raised in many countries including Switzerland, Germany, France and England, Katrina came to India to try her hand at modeling and acting. Kat, as she is fondly called, was introduced to Salman Khan by a common friend at a party. Salman immediately took the struggling actor under his gracious wing and a successful phase in her career began.
After getting noticed prominently for her roles in films like Partner, Welcome and Race, Katrina started rising to fame. If movies like Singh is King, New York, Rajneeti, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara catapulted Kat into the top slot, it was her sizzling appearance in item songs like Sheila ki jawaani and Chikni Chameli that made her the queen of item songs and an ultimate diva.
Besides Bollywood, Katrina has also appeared in Telugu and Malayalam films. The spectacularly beautiful actor has been voted the sexiest woman in Asia by Eastern Eye for three years consecutively. She has also been voted the sexiest woman in the world by FHM.
