Katrina Kaif visits Ajmer Sharif, but why?

Especially since the shrine’s head had recently voiced his displeasure with film stars using the dargah to promote their films

Katrina Kaif is not a lady who will bow down to pressure. The actor visited the Ajmer Sharif yesterday (August 1), despite the shrine’s leader recently saying that he is against film stars visiting the holy place to promote their films. Kat, we are sure, was welcome as she was not there to publicise any of her films. She also did not bring any paparazzi with her. In fact, she and her friend Ali Abbas Zafar – who directed her in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan – visited the shrine in the wee hours of the morning. It is the month of Ramzan and a large number of devotees pay their respects at the shrine. The duo did not want their presence to inconvenience the devotees and so timed their visit accordingly.

That’s considerate of Kat, but the question still remains: why did she visit the Ajmer Sharif? It was clearly not for professional reasons. From what we hear, it was purely personal. Ms Kaif had earlier tied a ‘mannat ka dhaaga’ (a wish-fulfilling thread) at the dargah. She went there yesterday to untie it. Apparently, her wish was fulfilled. Sigh. We wonder what that wish was. Any guesses?
