After getting off to a flying start on day 1, Sajid Nadiadwala’s directorial debut continued to get cash registers jingling on day 2 as well
Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Randeep Hooda starrer Kick hit the screens on Friday (July) and since then the film has got registers jingling and how! On the first day, the action flick ended up raking over Rs 26.40 crore nett at the domestic box office. In fact, Salman’s film witnessed a good opening in international markets too. And on day 2 the fantastic run at the box office continued. On Saturday, Kick collected Rs 27.15 crore nett at the Indian BO bringing its total to Rs 53.55 crore nett. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on Twitter, “#Kick crosses 50 cr nett mark in 2 days. Continues its glorious run on Day 2. Collects – 27.15 cr nett. India biz. AWESOME.” That’s not all! Bhai’s magnum opus seems to be doing exceptionally well oversees too.
Adarsh further tweeted, “#Kick is heading for the BIGGEST Salman Khan opener in USA-Canada. Fri + Sat approx $ 750,000+ [ 4.50 cr]. Many screens yet to report. In UK, Australia and New Zealand too, #Kick Saturday is bigger than Friday. Biz zooming upwards. EXCELLENT.”
If Salman Khan’s Kick continues to rock the box office, we are pretty sure the film will enter the Rs 100 club in no time. Right peeps?
