The Salman-Jacqueline starrer is on its way to break the box office record of SRK’s blockbuster Chennai Express wethinks
Sajid Nadiadwala’s maiden directorial venture Kick is faring exceptionally well at the domestic box office. After entering the rs 200 crore club, yesterday the film broke the domestic box office record of Aamir Khan starrer 3 Idiots. And now Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Randeep Hooda’s film is slowly inching towards Rs 250 crore mark. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on Twitter, “#Kick [Week 2] Fri 9.22 cr, Sat 10.62 cr, Sun 14.18 cr, Mon 5.08 cr, Tue 4.21 cr. Total – 207.38 cr nett. BLOCKBUSTER.” Kick is doing equally well in the international markets and has already crossed Rs 50 crore mark oversees. Adarsh tweeted, “#Kick Overseas total till Mon: $ 9.6 million [58.35 cr]. Many screens yet to report. SUPERB.”
If Salman’s latest offering continues to create hungama at the ticket windows then we are pretty sure many more records will be broken and re-written in the coming days. Agreed Bollywoodlifers?
