Kick has certainly got the cash registers ringing
Salman Khan’s recently released film, Kick is going rock-steady at the box office even in it’s second week. The Sajid Nadiadwala directorial has performed good on its second Friday for the film has collected approximately ₹ 9.2 crore on its eighth day. With this, Kick, which also stars Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles now stands with a total of ₹ 173.31 crore at the domestic box office.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Kick continues to gallop speedily. [Week 2] Fri 9.22 cr. Grand total: ₹ 173.31 cr nett. India biz. BLOCKBUSTER!”
With no other release this Friday, Kick had to be the only choice for the masses. If this pace continues then the film, which is already the highest grosser of 2014 is expected to enter the ₹ 200 crore club by the end of its second weekend. Kick is also having a good run in the overseas circuit and has already made more than ₹ 42 crore at the international box office.
Looks like all the records are going to break at the BO and…how!
