Be it USA or Australia, the Salman mania is refusing to die down
Sajid Nadiadwala must be a very happy man. His first directorial, Kick, has broke all box office records thanks to Salman Khan. While Kick marches past Rs 200 crore mark, there is some great news for the film unit from abroad too as Kick is doing phenomenal business at international box offices too.
According to trade pundits, the Salman Khan fever has gripped USA, Canada and Australia as the film is raking some serious money at these countries. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Kick *total till Weekend 2 – in Rs*: USA – Rs 9.52 cr, Canada – 2.94 cr, UK – Rs 10.80 cr, Australia – Rs 2.63 cr… Source: Rentrak”.
Kick seems to be a godsend for Salman Khan as the failure of Jai Ho has been long forgotten in Kick frenzy. With his latest blockbuster, Salman has become the only the star in Bollywood to give seven consecutive Rs 100 crore films. And the by the looks of the figures at international box office, Kick‘s popularity is far from over.
