The makers of the superhero flick unveil the second song from the album that is visually ultra-appealing but musically meh! Watch it and tell us what you think…
The romantic song Dil tu hi bataa from Rakesh Roshan’s much-anticipated superhero flick Krrish 3 featuring Hrithik Roshan and Kangna Ranaut is finally out. After the energetic club number Raghupati Raghav, we were eagerly waiting for the second song to be released. But honestly speaking, we are not thrilled by it, though the trailer has managed to grab our attention.
Created by the Roshan brothers Rakesh and Rajesh, Dil tu hi bataa might be a nice romantic track, but it doesn’t really live up to the hype the makers and the franchise as a whole have created and it doesn’t really go with the superhero theme. Hrithik’s ironed-straight hair and Kangna’s strong makeup takes away the essence of beautiful romance, as they look wrongly cast and lack the chemistry we would have wanted to feel. The location where the song was shot is what caught our attention – stunning! It does have shades of Suraj hua maddham (Shahrukh Khan and Kajol in Israel for Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham) and the Shahrukh Khan-Manisha Koirala song Satrangee re shot in Ladakh from Dil Se!
Sung by Zubeen Garg and Alisha Chinoy, Dil tu hi bataa is too slow to like on first listen, but the singers have done a splendid job. And of course, the background is the star!
