Humshakals actor has donned many avatars in his latest Bollywood film and is ready to surprise his fans in his Marathi debut
Riteish Deshmukh is ready to play the angry young man in his Marathi debut. Bollywood’s funny man seems to be craving for a makeover. So, if we were impressed with his grey shade in Ek Villain, looks like he’s ready to turn be the new Rowdy in Marathi movies. The latest promo of his film Lai Bhari sees the actor in a never-seen-before avatar. BollywoodLifers, does he impress? Riteish has often been a key player in multi-starrers, however he hasn’t really managed to carve a niche for himself as a solo actor looks like the actor has started taking giant leap at least as far as regional films are concerned. After producing the critically acclaimed film Yellow, the actor is ready to experiment as an actor outside of Bollywood.
We like the fact that Riteish has mustered the courage to venture out as a solo lead even if it is in Marathi. He has also pumped in almost Rs 9-crore for his debut, which is amongst the big budget projects in the regional film industry. The actor reminds us of Akshay Kumar in Rowdy Rathore, minus Akki’s tall and fit frame.
The fact that he attempts to break free from his clown and funny man image is commendable, but does he convince a a action star? Well, BollywoodLifers we leave that up to you to decide…. Here take a look at Lai Bhaari promo…
