Lakme Fashion Week 2012: Kareena Kapoor dazzles on the ramp

As Kareena Kapoor swaggered around in a Kallol Datta and a Pankaj and Nidhi creation, she admitted that she was glad that she got the chance to encourage new talent

If this look is the result of encouraging new designers on the block, we would love to see Kareena Kapoor making such choices often. Not only did she carry off the designs amazingly, she also looked mind-blowing to boot. Kallol is known for making clothes that are very unconventional. And hence when we spotted Ms Kapoor in a black and white knee-length tie-up coat which she teamed with a stylish metallic neckpiece, we weren’t surprised. The style lends a very futuristic feel to her and the black nail paint looks very Goth.

Apart from Kallol, Bebo was also the showstopper for designer Pankaj and Nidhi’s show. She was seen wearing a dress with complex fringe detailing this time around. Very asymmetrical, very different; this outfit doesn’t exactly accentuate the actor’s curves, but does help her stand out in the crowd. It’s the kind of ensemble that you would appreciate solely for its aesthetic value and the way it’s tailored. We kinda like such eccentric stuff and hence even Pankaj and Nidhi get a thumbs-up from us.

The Heroine actor woos us yet again with her attitude and allure.  And this time with the help of some talented designers, of course!
