We spotted some really gorgeous gals strutting their stuff with unmatchable sartorial sense. Tell us, who impressed you most?
We love to treat ourselves with a riot of colour at fashion events. And Lakme Fashion Week 2013 has been giving us that much-needed dose of styles, trends and vibrancy…so far. Here are the style-wise babes who caught our attention with their designer outfits at the ongoing extravaganza.
We spotted Genelia in an Amit Aggarwal outfit. The Deshmukh bahu looked chic and unpretentious in this funky creation. Genelia brought along a breath of fresh air to the gala with her. The nude make-up coupled with her distinct charm made the babe an absolute head-turner. She decided to add a bit of bling and color with her ring and those heels.
Murder 3 star Aditi Rao Hydari stole the show in Anita Dongre’s colouful creation. Aditi’s ethnic printed strappy top and floor length lehenga redefined the world of the global desi. Mixing tribal prints, exciting colours and ethnicity, the babe presented the boho-chic outfit in her trademark sophisticated style. And then there was the Besharam actor Pallavi Sharda, who seemed to have taken the term ‘quirky’ a little more seriously, but managed to carry herself well with the Quirk Box number and those shiny tangelo heels.
We were stunned to see Karisma Kapoor walking the ramp in a Vikram Phadnis outfit. The beautiful gown made the star look a million bucks, but some of them were sadly tired and fragile. The Dil To Pagal Hai babe upped the glam quotient of the show with her dazzling personality and the bling outfit.
If Karisma looked like a princess, sister Kareena Kapoor managed to catch our eye in her lemon yellow Osman gown. The finely-crafted dress with a fab cut made Bebo look elegant and sporty at the same time. Her ankle strap sandals gave her a tall and powerful vibe. But more than her outfit, the Satyagraha star impressed us with her ‘I-command-your-attention’ attitude.
Take a look at the spunky stars who added a dash of chic drama with the colourful creations they wore. Whose style did you like best?
