The gorgeous mommy Lara Dutta turns 34 today

The former Miss Universe Lara Dutta was born to Wing Commander L.K. Dutta (retired), and Jennifer Dutta, in Ghaziabad on April 16th, 1978. Today she adds one more year to her beautiful life. In 2003 the dusky Bangalore bred babe did her first Hindi film Andaaz co-starring Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra. The potboiler was an average hit at the box-office and it marked her arrival in the tribe of beauty queen-turned-actors. She went on to do a series of mainstream commercial films, Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost, Masti, Aan, No Entry, Ek Ajnabee, Bhagam Bhag, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom and Billu.

In 2011 she got romantically involved with tennis-ace Mahesh Bhupathi, who pushed her to launch her production Bheegi Basanti, under which she successfully released her maiden venture titled Chalo Dilli. The film starred Vinay Pathak and her, and the plot was unlike any of the mainstream dramas that she has acted in the past. Later, she also acted in Farhan Akhtar’s Don 2 co-starring Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra, but post that the gorgeous babe has been on maternity leave. After marrying her beau in February 2011, almost a year later on 20 January, 2012 they were proud parents to a baby girl. Currently, Lara is enjoying the duties of motherhood but claims that she is going to be back at the helm of things before the end of 2012.
