Lisa joins Katrina Kaif, Zarine Khan and Giselle Monteiro
Wondering how? Well, the Rascals actor has a problem speaking in Hindi
Apparently these days it isn’t essential for actors to know how to speak and read Hindi to make a mark in Bollywood, Katrina Kaif being the prime example. Lisa Haydon had a small role in the Sonam Kapoor-starrer Aisha and now she will be seen heating things up in the Sanjay Dutt-Ajay Devgn-starrer Rascals. The hottie confessed that speaking in Hindi was a challenge for her (more than even acting perhaps!). Lisa, who was born as Elisabeth Marie Haydon to a Malayali father and an Australian mother, had been living in Australia and United States before moving back to India in 2007 to pursue modeling. “Hindi was a challenge for me. It was challenging…Now it is somewhat easy,” Lisa told reporters after the music launch of Rascals. In Aisha she was almost playing herself, but this time around things were a little different as she is playing the lead. So she had a few more talking parts, of course, apart from shaking her booty and upping the glam quotient. We hope she takes her Hindi lessons soon if she doesn’t want to be doing item numbers for the rest of her life!
